Job summary

Liftoff, a remote-first AI-powered marketing platform, seeks a Lead Data Analyst to tackle the hardest analytical problems across Liftoff's supply side. You will define analytics best practices, mentor analysts, and lead cross-functional initiatives that tie technical findings to revenue and partner impact.

You will write optimized SQL on massive datasets, build dashboards, and partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive strategic outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Analytics, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics roles.
• Expertise writing complex, performance-optimized SQL on massive datasets; experience with cloud data warehouses.
• Strong grounding in statistical inference, A/B test design, and causal reasoning.
• Proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business impact for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis on highly complex questions; influence roadmap and decisions at a senior level.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Conduct root-cause analysis at product performance and KPI intersections.
• Build and automate dashboards and reporting pipelines using SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
• Translate technical concepts into business impact analyses for Commercial teams.
• Lead end-to-end transformational projects from ideation to rollout.
• Mentor analysts on best practices and effective communication.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive initiatives.
