Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise-scale BI and data warehousing solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will partner with business leaders to define KPIs, translate needs into analytics solutions, and deliver reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos.

You will craft data models, integration processes, and governance while aligning with SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Extensive experience delivering end-to-end BI and data warehouse solutions, from requirements gathering through production support.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehouse solutions across multiple business domains.
• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos to support enterprise decision-making.
• Design and optimize data models, data integration processes, and reporting frameworks leveraging SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams while supporting BI strategy, governance, and best practices.
