Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise BI and data warehousing solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and senior leadership to transform complex data into actionable insights.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake, plus SDLC know-how.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics.
• End-to-end BI and DW delivery experience from requirements to production support.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehousing across multiple domains.
• Partner with leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos to support enterprise decisions.
• Design and optimize data models, data integration, and reporting frameworks with SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and support BI strategy and governance.
