Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in the United States to design and deliver enterprise-scale BI and data warehousing solutions that enable data-driven decisions. You will lead end-to-end BI initiatives, define KPIs with stakeholders, and architect reporting frameworks using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos.

Strong SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake skills are required, along with SDLC knowledge and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, data warehousing, reporting and analytics.
• End-to-end BI and data warehouse delivery from requirements to production support.
• Expertise with Power BI, Tableau and Cognos.
• Advanced SQL with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver self-service analytics.
• Design enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehouse solutions across domains.
• Partner with leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable analytics.
• Architect and deliver reporting with Power BI, Tableau, Cognos for enterprise decisions.
• Design data models, data integration, and reporting frameworks using SQL/Oracle/Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across cross-functional teams.
