Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions that empower data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will lead BI projects, partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, and build reporting with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos. This remote US-based role offers flexible work arrangements and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Extensive experience delivering end-to-end BI and data warehouse solutions.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehousing solutions across domains.
• Partner with leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos for enterprise decisions.
• Design and optimize data models, data integration processes, and reporting frameworks leveraging SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams while supporting BI strategy, governance, and best practices.
