Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design enterprise BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable analytics and drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

You'll lead BI design across Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, and optimize data models with SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake. This remote US role offers strong growth and a supportive work environment with a focus on governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics.
• End-to-end BI and data warehouse delivery experience.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, Cognos.
• Advanced SQL with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and define KPIs.
• Experience designing enterprise data models and BI architectures.
• SDLC knowledge (Agile and Waterfall).
• Ability to lead technical initiatives across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehouse solutions.
• Partner with leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs.
• Architect reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Cognos.
• Design data models, integration processes, and reporting frameworks with SQL/Oracle/Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership and govern BI practices.
