Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions that empower data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will lead BI/DWH design and delivery, partner with executives to define KPIs, and architect robust dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos for enterprise decision making. Strong SDLC and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics.
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI and data warehouse solutions from requirements through production support.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills; hands-on with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of BI and DWH solutions across domains.
• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable analytics.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Cognos for enterprise decisions.
• Design and optimize data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks with SQL, Oracle, Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across cross-functional teams and BI governance.
