Valence Care is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in New York, NY to turn complex data into actionable insights. You will partner with leadership across the organization to analyze data, automate reporting, and drive improvements in operations and patient care.

The role emphasizes advanced SQL, Python automation, and building dashboards with Power BI, with experience in Snowflake and REST APIs highly valued. Collaboration with clinical, financial, and executive teams is core to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, or related field.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries and performance optimization.
• Strong Python experience for data analysis, automation, and reliable solutions.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Experience working with REST APIs and data formats like JSON/CSV/Excel.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with Git or similar source-control tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to own a business challenge from requirements to solution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends and support decisions.
• Develop advanced SQL queries and reusable datasets across data sources.
• Use Python to automate data processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Create dashboards and executive reports with Power BI or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with operations, clinical, financial, and executive teams to translate needs into actions.
• Integrate data from databases, REST APIs, Excel, CSV, JSON, and cloud apps.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting workflows.
• Monitor data quality and ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Identify efficiency gains through analytics, reporting, and automation.
• Document solutions and follow best practices for development and testing.
