Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Senior Analytics Developer to architect and deliver governed analytics using Power BI and Snowflake. You will partner with clinical, business, and quality leaders to enable data-driven decisions and scalable data models across hospitals and affiliated schools.

You’ll mentor junior developers, drive data governance, and ensure reliable metrics with strong metadata lineage. On-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analytics/BI experience, preferably in healthcare delivery, payer, or life sciences.
• SQL and dimensional modeling experience; Power BI with DAX, M, and semantic models; RLS and performance tuning.
• Epic Module Certification required on hire or within 6 months.
• Experience with Epic Clarity data models; familiarity with HL7 FHIR, ICD 10/CPT/LOINC is a plus.
• Demonstrated PHI/PII handling and HIPAA awareness; governance & metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reusable Power BI datasets and dashboards; optimize performance and adoption.
• Lead Snowflake data model design for complex analytics use cases; ensure metadata and lineage practices.
• Translate business needs into governed analytics; mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to improve reliability and scalability.
• Own feature and dataset delivery; coordinate cross-team dependencies with light oversight.
• Promote standards for modeling, visualization, and SDLC; drive adoption of certified datasets.
