Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to apply advanced analytics across a broad range of DSM topics for utility and government clients. You will lead research design, data collection, and modeling, delivering data-driven insights and strategic guidance.

The role requires a strong foundation in economics/stats/data science, experience with R/Python/Stata, SQL, and data visualization tools, and effective communication for diverse audiences. A collaborative, client-facing environment is expected.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields with 3–5 years relevant professional experience
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata
• Demonstrated experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations with the use of R-Shiny (or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit)
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Strong inferential statistics, sampling, research design, and regression analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel)
• Familiarity with energy sector/utility industry
• Applied research design experience in professional setting (consulting)

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting for client engagements
• Apply statistical/econometric analyses to assess program and policy impacts and provide recommendations
• Communicate methods and results clearly through reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations
• Assist or lead project management tasks including budget, invoicing, planning, and resource management
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff
• Build client relationships through proactive, clear communication
• Support business development and proposal development efforts
