Job summary

Cadmus seeks an analytical professional to apply advanced analytics to client engagements in the energy sector, delivering data-driven insights and strategic guidance to utility and government clients.

You will design research, analyze data, build visualizations, mentor junior staff, and help grow client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Eligible candidates must have an advanced degree and 3–7 years of relevant experience; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced quantitative degree with 3–5 years of experience or BA/BS with 5–7 years in a related field.
• Experience transforming data and programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and visualizations with R-Shiny or similar tools.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Expertise in inferential statistics, sampling, and study design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with the energy/utility sector.
• Applied research design experience in a consulting setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, analysis, model development, and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply econometric methods to quantify impacts and inform recommendations.
• Communicate methods and results clearly in reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Support or lead project budgets, planning, and resource management to meet Cadmus standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Build client relationships through proactive communication on project status and findings.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities and proposal support.
