Job summary

Cadmus Group seeks a quantitative analyst to support energy policy and program evaluations for utility and government clients in the United States. You will design research, run analyses in R/Python/Stata, build models, and translate findings into actionable guidance for DSM, electrification, energy efficiency, and decarbonization projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams across time zones, clear communication, and delivering high-value, accurate results.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related quantitative fields with 0–2 years of experience, or BA/BS with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, sampling, research design, statistical analysis, and regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize assignments and take ownership of projects.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling, tool development and refinement, and reporting for client engagements.
• Suggest and apply analytic methods to address client questions.
• Conduct independent analysis using standard and advanced statistical techniques.
• Assist in data collection and econometric analysis to assess program and policy impacts.
• Analyze and interpret findings to prepare concise reports and recommendations.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing methodologies and data sources.
• Provide task management and oversight in collaboration with project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with project team members and clients to achieve project goals; communicate clearly across time zones.
