Qualifications

  • Master's/Doctoral degree or equivalent in a quantitative field with substantial work experience.
  • Strong data transformation and statistical programming skills in R/Python/Stata.
  • Experience creating data visualizations and interactive apps (R-Shiny, Power BI, Dash).
  • Proficiency with SQL databases and data management.
  • Demonstrated inferential statistics, sampling, design and regression analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in energy sector and consulting work.
  • Applied research design experience in professional settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting tasks for client engagements.
  • Apply statistical methods to assess program and policy impacts and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate methods, data sources, and results clearly in reports, dashboards, and visuals.
  • Manage consulting projects, budgets, planning, and staffing; ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Mentor junior staff and nurture client relationships with proactive communication.
  • Identify business development opportunities and contribute to proposals.
