Job summary

The Cadmus Group LLC is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to design and execute research projects across DSM topics. You will lead data collection, analysis, and modeling, delivering clear, policy-relevant insights to utility and government clients.

Ideal candidates will bring 6–8 years of analytics or consulting experience in the energy sector, strong stats and programming skills, and a proven ability to translate complex results into actionable guidance for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics, statistics, data science or related quantitative field with 6–8 years of experience, or BA/BS with 8–10 years of experience.
• Experience transforming data and programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Demonstrated experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations (R-Shiny, Flask, DASH, Power BI or Streamlit).
• Experience with databases and SQL; inferential statistics, sampling, research design, regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; professional growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply statistical methods to assess program and policy impacts; synthesize results into actionable recommendations.
• Communicate methods, findings, data sources, and results clearly in reports, dashboards, and visualizations for diverse audiences.
• Manage consulting projects including team coordination, budgeting, planning, and client communications; ensure deliverables meet Cadmus standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff; build strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Identify and develop business opportunities, supporting or leading proposals to expand work with clients.
