Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analyst to analyze customer behavior and report on marketing results. You will help define the direction of Customer Insights research and strategic marketing, working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 3–5 years of analytics experience, and strong SQL plus knowledge of R or Python and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, marketing, business, or related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing or customer analytics or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL.
• Proficiency with at least 1 statistical analysis language (R or Python).
• Data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis tools (e.g., Claude, Codex).
• Excellent communication skills: convey data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in A/B testing methodology & design.
• Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and automation tools (CDPs) is a plus.
• Understanding of lifecycle marketing channels & personalization.
• Must be analytical and able to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute A/B testing strategies to optimize customers’ shopping journeys and drive incremental revenue.
• Segment the customer base and support targeted marketing strategies based on behavioral, preferential, and demographic data.
• Tailor segmentation analysis to support marketing team’s personalization and performance goals.
• Design & create visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Define, track, and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support development of customer-level predictive models and forecasting models.
• Conduct self-directed exploratory analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Pro, Ecommerce, Operations, Merchandising, and IT teams.
