Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to build and maintain models and measurement frameworks for the PRO loyalty program across the customer journey. You will collaborate with Loyalty/CX, PRO, Marketing/CRM, FP&A, and IT to translate analytics into design decisions and measurable improvements.

This role focuses on member behavior, reward mechanics, breakage, and customer lifetime value, with emphasis on marketing analytics, segmentation, and A/B testing to drive business impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field with strong math foundations.
• 5+ years in data science or analytics, with business impact.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one data-science language (Python or R).
• Experience with customer analytics, loyalty, or CRM is preferred.
• Ability to translate analyses into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Model member behavior across the PRO lifecycle and maintain health views for leadership.
• Quantify reward redemption and breakage; support financial planning with behavioral inputs.
• Predict responses to program mechanics and measure impact pre- and post-launch.
• Develop CLV and churn models to identify at-risk members early.
• Create segmentation and propensity models for targeted marketing.
• Collaborate with IT/Data Engineering to close data gaps and enable insights.
• Present findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
