Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Decision Analyst to translate business questions into actionable insights across Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Online and IT. You will design analytics, build dashboards, and support data-driven decisions for enterprise priorities.

You'll leverage BigQuery, SQL, Python, R, Tableau and other tools to develop reporting capabilities, validate data, and communicate findings to executives and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in data mining, statistics, auditing or forecasting.
• Strong data analysis and data visualization skills.
• Ability to translate analysis into effective presentations.
• Expertise with SQL, SAS, Tableau, R, Python, Teradata, Oracle.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking to evaluate alternative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data volumes and build dashboards and reports using BigQuery, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau.
• Collaborate with analysts to explore data sources, cleanse and validate data.
• Support end users and troubleshoot issues.
• Deliver analytics solutions through collaboration with stakeholders and teams.
• Develop additional technical competencies within the team.
