Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to perform analyses ensuring recommendations are backed by data and research. The role sits within Data Science & Analytics, focusing on improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to drive business intelligence.

You will work with a range of data sources, develop data structures, and present rigorous data stories to leadership while ensuring data quality and integrity across sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to understand possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using BI and reporting apps.
• Perform ad-hoc, strategic review of structured and unstructured data.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, cleanse, and standardize information.
• Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage and apply modeling to improve performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on existing data sources.
• Present a detailed data story to multiple levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with agile development to enhance processes and programs.
• Explain complex information in straightforward terms.
