Job summary

Jobright is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own product and business analysis, metric and dashboard development, data quality and statistical evaluation, stakeholder recommendations, and mentoring across a remote team.

Responsibilities include analyzing product data with SQL, building dashboards, investigating data quality issues, and guiding complex technical initiatives from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data analysis from a business question to a documented recommendation.
• Strong SQL skills with joins, window functions, and aggregation.
• Ability to build and validate dashboards using a business intelligence tool.
• Working knowledge of statistics, experiment interpretation, and data quality checks.
• Clear written communication and the ability to collaborate with a remote team.
• Demonstrated experience owning complex projects from design through production or business adoption.
• Ability to lead technical decisions, review others' work, and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product and business data with SQL to explain trends, customer behavior, and operational performance.
• Define metrics and build reliable dashboards and recurring reports with clear definitions.
• Investigate data quality issues and reconcile findings across source systems.
• Design and interpret funnel, cohort, and experiment analyses with appropriate statistical checks.
• Communicate findings and practical recommendations to product and business stakeholders.
• Lead technical design and delivery for complex initiatives in this role, making tradeoffs explicit.
• Mentor colleagues and improve review, documentation, and operational practices.
