211 LA seeks a Senior Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights within its governance framework. You will develop complex SQL on a Redshift-backed warehouse, craft reports in Tableau and Hex, and translate metrics into clear narratives for leadership and external partners.

The role emphasizes data storytelling, stakeholder collaboration, and responsible, scalable analytics as the organization expands its AI-enabled analytics maturity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis or BI with impact on decisions.
• Advanced SQL including partitioning and performance tuning.
• BI/dashboarding in Tableau and/or Hex; governance concepts, semantic layer.
• Experience with governed data warehouse (Redshift) and dbt.
• Strong data storytelling and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into analyses that drive decisions.
• Draft and maintain data reports and analytics for external publication/distribution.
• Write advanced SQL on the governed dbt + Redshift warehouse and its semantic layer.
• Build and maintain trusted, refreshable reports and dashboards in Tableau and Hex.
• Turn dashboards into narratives that a non-technical audience can understand and act on.
• Deliver actionable insights and clear recommendations for executive, funder, and government audiences.
• Own analysis accuracy and maintain QA checklist before sharing.
• Define reporting standards and a lightweight, brand-aligned visual style.
