Job summary

Databricks is looking for a Solutions Architect to lead the adoption of the Unified Analytics Platform. This customer-facing role focuses on consulting in big data architecture, delivering solutions, and building relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience and a degree in a quantitative field. As part of a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to work with technologies like Apache Spark and various cloud services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in and debugging at least one of Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for customers to adopt Data and AI solutions.
• Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications.
• Travel to customers (up to 30%, mainly local).
