Job summary

Databricks is looking for a Solutions Architect who will lead the adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform while solving complex data challenges. You’ll provide technical leadership, consult on big data architecture, and build reference architectures for our customers.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role and be proficient in distributed data systems and programming languages. This role may require local travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in and debugging at least one of Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Data and AI solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts.
• Build reference architectures and demo applications for customers.
