Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with customers, architect and productionize data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development with strong customer empathy.

This hands-on, customer-facing role requires Python/Scala/JS proficiency, cloud experience, and the ability to translate complex concepts into scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade customer projects and design reference architectures.
