Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate with customers, delivering data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

This hands-on, customer-facing role requires engineering excellence, adaptability, and clear communication to drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or software engineering.
• Familiar with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP) and at least one.
• Experience with distributed computing and Spark runtime internals.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade data/AI projects and build reference architectures.
• Design, implement, and deploy data ingestion and ML/AI integrations.
• Guide customers on architecture decisions and ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Databricks teams to deliver engagements and collect feedback.
