Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a frontline supervisor to lead dock operations, manage daily staffing, and ensure shipments move on time and damage-free. You will supervise and develop employees, coordinate with team members, and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, ability to plan manpower, monitor performance data, and build positive relationships with business partners.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in logistics or LTL operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with a focus on quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
• Plan daily manpower, set schedules, and coordinate job assignments.
• Monitor performance data and use corrective actions as needed.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information and setting appointments.
• Ensure all OS&D is identified and processed properly.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
