McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Dam Safety Engineer - FERC-IC to join our team.

This PE-licensed professional will oversee FERC Part 12D dam safety evaluations, manage client relationships, and lead complex project work from home or in client offices nationwide. The role requires 15+ years in dam safety, strong communication, and deep knowledge of AutoCAD/GeoStudio/Rocscience, with the ability to mentor staff and coordinate subcontractors while delivering high-quality results for federally

Qualifications

• PE license active and in good standing.
• 15+ years of engineering consulting with FERC Part 12D and dam safety.
• Experience in dam safety design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety evaluations and inspections per FERC Part 12D.
• Lead PFMA/L2RA workshops and risk analyses.
• Oversee hydrological, geotechnical, and structural dam evaluations.
• Prepare dam safety reports and manuals.
• Manage clients, projects, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and lead client training.
• Marketing, proposals, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• Coordinate subcontractor selection for dam safety activities.
