Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Dam Safety Engineer focused on FERC IC projects. The role involves collaborating with clients on federally-regulated hydroelectric projects, leading dam safety evaluations, and mentoring staff. Remote work option is available for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 15+ years in consulting, and strong experience with FERC, dam safety, and regulatory standards. AMS and project management capabilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (MS preferred).
• Active PE license in good standing required.
• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience including FERC Part 12D and dam safety.
• Experience as FERC-approved Independent Consultant or CDSE or eligible to be approved.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety related work including FERC Part 12D inspections (CA and PI).
• Lead PFMA and L2RA workshops.
• Oversee hydrological, geotechnical, and structural dam evaluations.
