Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to integrate security across the IT lifecycle and develop secure software and infrastructure. The role emphasizes RMF processes, accreditation, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure solutions.

The candidate will lead cyber artifacts development, manage RMF artifacts, and implement mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience managing RMF artifacts and maintaining system ATOs and IATTs.
• 3+ years of experience applying the Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for accreditation of DoD.
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity analysis, accreditation processes, compliance systems, and RMF execution.
• Able to multi-task, manage a team of cyber engineers, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• US citizenship and current secret clearance
• Top Secret/SCI Clearance is requited

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate development of cyber artifacts for the program.
• Lead cybersecurity efforts for specific software development and engineering projects.
• Develop the cybersecurity requirements to be included in the product baseline(s).
• Assess, document, and report on the cybersecurity posture of various systems.
• Develop and implement cyber mitigation strategies in response to identified vulnerabilities.
• Manage the cybersecurity policies, controls, and technologies used to secure applications, data, and infrastructure in cloud environments.
• Create a framework for integrating security measures into software design and implementation.
• Identify and prioritize potential threats to a system, application, or organization.
• Monitor, track, and report on cybersecurity project status to stakeholders.
• Conduct scans to ensure vulnerability management and DISA STIGs compliance.
• Utilize IA scanning tools such as Nessus and SCAP scanning tools.
• Coordinate with Leidos PMO and customer stakeholders to prioritize cybersecurity tasks
