Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee the cybersecurity posture of DoD information systems and ensure RMF compliance for a fast-paced Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program. The ISSM will develop security policies, perform risk assessments, manage accreditations, and coordinate continuous monitoring.

This on-site role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and maintaining security documentation to protect sensitive data.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience, or Master's with 6+ years.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD policies, RMF, NIST 800-53, FISMA, ICD 503, JSIG.
• Experience with cloud computing and RMF ATO processes.
• Experience with security engineering, risk management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Strong understanding of cloud/security controls and common cybersecurity tools.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for security reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on cybersecurity compliance and information assurance.
• Collaborate with ISSOs and Cyber Security Engineers for continuous monitoring.
• Manage operational cybersecurity posture across networks with NOC/SOC and Cloud Teams.
• Coordinate ATO/ATE/ATC/ISA processes with customers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and DoD compliance artifacts.
• Oversee DoD information systems security posture for confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Perform risk, vulnerability assessments, and audits with remediation plans.
• Lead continuous monitoring of security controls and protection of data.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and operations to enforce security controls.
• Ensure RMF accreditation is completed and maintained.
• Serve as primary security contact for incident response and reporting.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for DoD systems.
• Maintain SSPs, risk assessments, and POA&Ms.
