Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee the cybersecurity posture of DoD information systems on a 100% on-site program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. You will develop security policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead RMF-based accreditation and continuous monitoring efforts.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong communication, and the ability to manage risk and compliance across cloud and on-premises

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of DoD policies and frameworks (NIST 800-53, RMF, FISMA).
• Experience with cloud-based DoD information systems and ATO processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on cybersecurity compliance and information assurance.
• Collaborate with ISSOs and Cyber Security Engineers on continuous monitoring.
• Manage operational cybersecurity posture with NOC/SOC and cloud teams.
• Facilitate ATO/ATE/ATC/ISA processes with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain security policies and RMF/NIST documentation.
• Oversee security posture of DoD information systems.
• Perform risk, vulnerability assessments and audits.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT and operations to enforce security controls.
• Ensure RMF accreditation and DoD regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident response and security reporting.
• Provide security training and awareness.
• Maintain SSPs, risk assessments, and POA&Ms.
• Stay current with threats and trends.
