Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Infrastructure Support Lead in our California, MD office to administer Windows and Linux systems securely, automate tasks, and coordinate security operations. The role emphasizes RMF/NIST compliance, STIG implementation, and collaboration with IA, engineering, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate holds an active Top Secret clearance, experience with SCAP/ACAS scanning, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Detailed RMF/NIST/ICD/CNSS knowledge.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (SCAP/ACAS).
• Knowledge of network technologies in a classified environment (LAN/WAN).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems securely and at scale.
• Automate routine tasks with scripting.
• Collaborate with IA, engineering, and operations to deliver IT services.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to information system events.
• Develop CM-related procedures and ensure security compliance.
• Create and enforce information security policies and procedures.
• Document compliance activities per authorization package.
• Lead security education and mentor junior engineers.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring.
• Support incident response and remediation planning.
