Job summary

SonicWall is seeking a customer-focused Solution Engineer to join our field-based team in the United States. This role supports sales and channel technical activities, designing and demonstrating cybersecurity solutions while travel up to 30%.

You will work with customers, partners, and internal teams to translate business needs into technical architectures, deliver live demos, and provide guidance from pre-sales through deployment. Remote work is common, with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience or equivalent.
CISSP certification is required or in-progress.
Experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Support, Professional Services, or Solution Engineering in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales teams to drive technical engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
Support channel partners with solution positioning, deployment, and technical support.
Deliver product demos, PoCs, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions.
Provide technical consultation and solution recommendations aligned with customer objectives.
Collaborate with Product, Support, Marketing, and Solution Engineering teams to address customer needs.
Participate in regional reporting and technical sales initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Help drive revenue growth through technical expertise and sales acumen.
