Sentara Health seeks an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and support security technologies across a large enterprise. You will own SSE/SASE and Zero Trust initiatives, specializing in Zscaler tools while collaborating with network, cloud, identity, and endpoint teams.

The role requires hands-on engineering, strong troubleshooting, and technical leadership to drive architecture, implementation, stabilization, and handoff to operations. A related degree is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or related field.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, Microsoft Security/Azure, CISSP, or Security+ preferred.
• Extensive hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience across SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, network/security/cloud.
• Zscaler technologies (ZIA/ZPA/ZCC/ZDX) and related policy troubleshooting experience.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting across TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN, PKI, proxies, and app connectivity.
• Experience with identity and cloud tech (Microsoft Entra ID/AD, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, MFA, Conditional Access, Azure).
