Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) SME to design, develop, and implement secure information systems supporting mission operations. The role collaborates with ISSMs, software developers, and government stakeholders to integrate robust security controls and keep systems resilient.

Responsibilities include vulnerability assessments, security tool integration in DevSecOps, and RMF/ATO support with action tracking across teams. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• MS degree with 15+ years of relevant security experience.
• Experience conducting vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking.
• Experience with SIEM tools and incident response.
• Familiarity with RMF/ATO processes and audits.
• Knowledge of multiple vulnerability scanners (AWS Inspector, Tenable, Rapid7).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement secure information systems supporting mission operations.
• Collaborate with ISSMs, developers, and government stakeholders to integrate security controls.
• Install and maintain security scanning tools; perform vulnerability assessments and remediations.
• Ensure DevSecOps pipelines include security testing and monitoring.
• Support RMF authorization activities and manage POA&Ms with key stakeholders.
