Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren. You will develop cybersecurity requirements, analyze threats, and lead groups to craft strategies for combat systems.

Qualifications

5+ years program-specific security engineering with Navy afloat/tactical systems.
DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II or higher certification (or successor). Privileged users require OS/CE training.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, DoD IA policies, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against threats.
Perform cybersecurity research, analysis and coordination for multi-classification efforts.
Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
Design and document cybersecurity system engineering for combat systems.
Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analyses, threat analyses, and MBSE-based analysis.
