SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship for eligibility checks.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements, lead threat analysis efforts, and drive system engineering activities for combat systems. The position involves on-site responsibilities, DoD IA policy application, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust cyber

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01, or successor.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, DoD IA policies and ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop cybersecurity risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Develop MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
