Job summary

SimVentions, an employee-owned company, seeks a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. This on-site role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.

You will develop cybersecurity requirements, lead risk analyses, and coordinate with defense programs across classified environments. The ideal candidate has DoD IA policy knowledge and strong security engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Five years of program-specific security engineering with Navy afloat systems or ten years general security engineering.
• IAT Level II DoD 8570.01 certification or equivalent.
• Privileged user requirements in JPAS with IT level-1; OS/CE training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and coordination across multiple classification levels.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies.
• Analyze cybersecurity policy gaps for combat systems.
• Design and document cybersecurity system engineering for combat systems.
• Develop risk assessment analyses and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, system engineering, risk, and mitigation.
• Develop MBSE models for cybersecurity analysis.
