Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance eligibility and experience with Navy combat systems cybersecurity engineering. The successful candidate will develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and risk mitigation plans while leading groups to address evolving threats and ensure compliance with DoD IA policies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program-specific security engineering experience working with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
• Minimum certification as IAT Level II or higher per DoD 8570.01, or successor.
• Privileged users must complete OS/CE training within six months of start date and meet JPAS requirements for T-5/T-R adjudication.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and guidance for combat systems.
• Lead working groups to develop cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering design, analysis and documentation for combat systems.
• Develop cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems.
• Document cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, and risk mitigation for combat systems.
• Develop or use MBSE models to perform cybersecurity analysis.
