Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The position is seated 100% on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia, and requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Applicants must have DoD IA policy knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral formats. Responsibilities include developing cybersecurity requirements and risk assessments for combat systems, leading working groups, and conducting multi-level policy

Qualifications

• Five (5) years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems.
• IAT Level II certification (or equivalent DoD) is required; privileged users require additional JPAS and OS training.
• Strong understanding of DoD IA policies and ability to communicate clearly in writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and guidance for combat systems.
• Conduct cybersecurity research and coordination for multi-classification efforts.
• Lead working groups to define cybersecurity strategies against emerging threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT policy gaps for combat systems.
• Perform cybersecurity system engineering, design, analysis, and documentation.
