Job summary

Kinetix, a New Charter Technologies company, is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote role based in the United States. You will lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk management initiatives, and vCISO advisory services across NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

You will work with clients and internal teams to translate complex risk into actionable strategies, supervise the security and compliance team, and ensure continuous monitoring and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001.
• Experience with audits, evidence management, and compliance assessments.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to advise executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Perform risk assessments and remediation tracking for clients.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes within the Security Program.
• Manage third-party risk and vendor due diligence.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance and responsible AI adoption.
• Maintain audit-ready security policies and evidence documentation.
• Collaborate with security operations on incident response and remediation.
• Support pre-sales, service recommendations, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead annual backup recovery testing and business continuity guidance.
