Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States–based role to lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk initiatives, and vCISO advisory services for diverse clients.

You will partner with clients and executives to strengthen security postures across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001, mentor the security team, and translate complex risks into clear, actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, governance, risk, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001; support for audits.
• Experience with risk assessments, third-party/vendor risk, cyber insurance, and GRC platforms.
• Strong client-facing communication, advisory, and executive reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Oversee risk assessments, policy development, audit prep, evidence collection and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive-level risk reporting.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks for clients.
• Collaborate with security operations on incidents, remediation, and client communication.
• Mentor and coach Security & Compliance Analysts as the team grows.
