Job summary

Kinetix, a New Charter Technologies company, is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, US-based role. Lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk management initiatives, and strategic advisory services for clients within a multi-framework landscape including NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC and ISO 27001.

You will partner with clients and executives to translate risks into actionable plans, guide the team to deliver compliant security programs, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity, governance, risk management or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audit support experience.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, third‑party/vendor risk, cyber insurance support, and use of GRC/compliance tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001).
• Oversee risk assessments, evidence collection, audit prep, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Guide and coach security and compliance teams as the organization grows.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align security programs with regulatory requirements.
• Support pre‑sales engagements and opportunities to expand client security programs.
