Job summary

HomeServe USA is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and monitor security controls across the organization. The role blends hands-on engineering with advisory duties to shape security strategy and manage threats.

You will lead risk assessments, define security standards, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with IT and business teams to embed security in projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years of information security with senior-level responsibilities.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC or AWS Certified Security - Specialty preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
• Experience with SOC, SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, PAM and cloud security.
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Ability to design, document and maintain enterprise security policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to identify security requirements and conduct risk assessments.
• Develop enterprise-level strategies, roadmaps, and technical standards.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and remediation across teams.
• Provide senior reporting on residual risk and threats to leadership.
• Guide security architecture decisions and ensure secure project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
