Job summary

Objective Partners is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead Engineer/Architect to blend strategy with hands-on execution across endpoints, networks, cloud, and applications. You will shape technical vision, reference architectures, and standards while building and hardening controls.

In this onsite/hybrid role, you lead security tooling, risk assessments, and incident response, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance the firm’s security posture and AI security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity or information security engineering with lead/architect roles.
• Experience implementing and engineering security controls in enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python) and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and enhance security controls across endpoints, network, cloud, identity, and SDLC.
• Lead security-focused projects from scoping to documentation and execution.
• Own and optimize core security tooling (SIEM, EDR, cloud security, etc.).
• Develop automation to improve threat detection, alerting, and incident workflows.
• Embed secure design principles and hardening standards with DevSecOps across infra and apps.
• Lead the firm's AI security program with governance and controls.
