Job summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead complex client engagements within the North America Risk Practice's Cybersecurity Advisory area. This role demands cybersecurity expertise, consulting leadership, executive-level communication, and the ability to translate technical findings into practical business recommendations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk management, information security, technology risk or related field.
• Experience leading client-facing consulting engagements or complex cybersecurity workstreams.
• Depth in cybersecurity risk management across domains like security architecture, cloud/security, IAM, vulnerability management, data protection, incident response, threat intelligence or cyber resilience.
• Strong analytical, project-management, executive communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to travel based on client and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity advisory engagements from discovery through presentation and closure.
• Assess cybersecurity strategies, governance, architectures, controls and resilience across client environments.
• Evaluate findings, architecture artifacts, security metrics and stakeholder input to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Translate cybersecurity issues into clear business, operational, financial and customer implications.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations and roadmaps considering risk, priorities and client maturity.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior cybersecurity, risk, technology, operations, payments and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide project direction and quality oversight.
• Maintain accountability for engagement quality, timelines, risks and outcomes.
• Drive business development through discovery, opportunity shaping, proposals and pricing inputs.
• Help develop advisory offerings, methodologies, tools and thought leadership.
