Job summary

Visa is seeking an experienced Incident Response Lead to join a Cyber Fusion Center. You will manage end-to-end cybersecurity incidents, perform in-depth analyses, and mentor junior analysts while coordinating with Cyber Defense and Engineering teams.

Role emphasizes proactive threat hunting, detection engineering, and development of runbooks. Hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to influence security across Visa and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a Bachelor's, or 11+ years with related experience.
• Preferred: 9+ years with Bachelor's or 7+ years with Advanced Degree, or 3+ years with PhD.
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GCFA, CySA+ are a plus.
• Experience in enterprise incident response teams or security operations centers.

Responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity incidents through identification, containment, and eradication.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on systems, accounts, and networks to determine root cause and impact.
• Engage with Cyber Defense and Engineering teams and mentor junior analysts.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Develop and refine detection rules to improve response capabilities.
• Provide detailed incident reports and evidence of actions taken.
• Quality control the work of analysts to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
• Develop incident response playbooks and runbooks for standardized processes.
• Identify process improvements and automate incident response workflows.
• Support and manage cybersecurity projects to enhance overall security posture.
