Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 3/4) to be based onsite at either Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and focuses on securing space systems across ground, space, and C2 domains.

You will work within an IPT to implement RMF, conduct vulnerability assessments, and integrate security controls with COTS products while aligning with DoD and IC requirements. 9/80 schedule; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience designing systems/networks with STIG implementation and mitigation
• Experience scanning/remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities with ACAS/Tenable Nessus
• Experience implementing the RMF process from system categorization through continuous monitoring

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and satisfy RMF CyberSecurity and CyberResilience requirements for satellite systems, links, and C2 systems
• Manage System Security Engineering requirements and decompose security controls across segments
• Perform Attack Surface Analysis and prepare SSP documents and risk assessment materials
• Deploy and maintain COTS security products (firewalls, antivirus, 2FA, SIEM)
• Support space vehicle hardening and embedded systems security for real-time environments
• Coordinate assessments to verify conformance with DoD/IC/SAF requirements
