Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer to design and secure complex satellite-ground-space segments. The role emphasizes RMF implementation, vulnerability assessment, and protection of critical DoD/National Security Space missions. On-site work and TS/SCI clearance are required.

The position demands experience with security controls, system hardening, and agile collaboration across IPTs to meet program milestones. US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with 5+ years, or 3+ years with a Masters (for Cyber Systems Engineer Level 3)
• BS degree with 8+ years or 6+ years with a Masters (for Level 4)
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• US Citizenship required
• Experience with RMF and system security controls

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and satisfy RMF cyber security, cyber resilience, and cyber survivability requirements
• Perform Attack Surface Analysis and prepare SSP, RAR, SCTM, and POA&M documents
• Deploy and maintain security products (firewalls, SIEM, MFA)
• Support space vehicle hardening and embedded software security
• Coordinate Cyber Test & Evaluation with customers and conduct vulnerability scanning and patch management
