Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) in Aurora, Colorado seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer – Level 2 or 3 to join our team. The role focuses on designing and implementing security controls and architectures aligned with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD RMF guidance.

You will work with a talented team to assess cyber infrastructure, perform engineering analyses, and support customer requirements while maintaining DoD clearance and DoD policy compliance. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or higher with required experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph at time of application.
• Experience with requirements development, system integration & test/verification.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM and/or IASAE baseline certifications encouraged.
• Experience configuring Rapid7, Trellix and Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and assess security controls and policies per NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253.
• Assist with security architecture implementation and assessments.
• Provide analyses of cyber infrastructure and develop technical solutions.
• Participate in team reviews of requirements, design and deployment plans.
• Serve as a Cyber Security engineer (ISSE) supporting advanced analyses.
