Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer at Level 3/4 for onsite work in Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship.

You will architect, implement, and verify RMF-based cyber security across satellite and ground systems, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include security documentation, risk assessment, and deployment of COTS security products, with 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years cyber systems experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship required.
• Experience in RMF, vulnerability assessment, and system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement RMF cyber requirements for satellite systems and C2.
• Engage with multiple engineering disciplines to design secure systems.
• Manage system security engineering requirements and decompose security controls into technical requirements.
• Perform SA/SSP/RAR/SCTM, and support security assessment procedures.
• Deploy and maintain COTS security products (firewalls, antivirus, 2FA, SIEM).
• Support space vehicle hardening for embedded processors and flight software.
• Interface with customer cybersecurity representatives for T&E and milestones.
